In Review

Witnesses describe large, black wolf-like shapes with glowing red eyes that seem to swim in and out of the dark rather than simply run through it. At a distance they resemble oversized, rangy timber wolves; up close they smear and blur at the edges, as if fur and smoke are having an argument about who's in charge. Reports vary between fully solid, heavy-pawed animals and forms that stretch into drifting vapor, only to pull themselves back together when they lunge.

Re:Smoke Wolves - Case SMO-011
Think "hellhound that forgot to clock out" and you're in the ballpark. Folks up that way swear by the chain‑rattling trick, so until we've got better data, agents in Smoke Wolf country are cleared to sound like a walking hardware store if it helps them come home.
